February 2007:
- Idaho National Laboratory is a government owned-contractor operator facility (GOCO) operated by Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC. (BEA). BEA awarded Marton Technologies (Marton) a five year subcontract to Marton to provide chemical and biological equipment maintenance and reach back support, instructor and training support services to include course curriculum development. Under this subcontract and in support of the U.S. Army 110th Chemical Battalion located at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, BEA subcontracted Marton to conduct test and evaluation of several Raman identifiers at U.S. Army Research Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM) Edgewood Chemical Biological Command (ECBC), Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.
March 2007:
- Marton Technologies is certified as an 8(a)/Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) by the Small Business Administration under the 9 year 8(a) Business Development Program. The company is eligible to remain in the program until March 5, 2016.
November 2007:
- Ahura Scientific awarded a subcontract to Marton Technologies to provide specialized technical training and instructor support services to its Department of Defense customer base.
- The company was admitted into the Hampton Roads Technology Incubator. The incubator is sponsored by the Hampton Roads Technology Council and the City of Hampton, VA. The incubator’s mission is to provide assistance to small businesses to ensure growth and success.
